Motor Mounts

Required Parts:

  • 4x 6mm M2 Screws (these are slightly larger diameter than screws used up until now)

  • 4x M2 ('larger') Nuts

  • 4x 0-80 Machine Screw

  • 2x Metal Motor Mount

  • 2x Motors

Attach both motor mounts to the frame first, then add the motors to the mounts.

Special Notes:

  • Install motors into motor mounts first, then install motor mounts onto lower frame.

  • Note screw locations in images. (Only 2 screws are used on each side, though there are 4 holes. Using 2 screws is sufficient).

  • Make sure motor mounts are installed to the BOTTOM side of frame as pictured.

  • Do NOT install wheels onto motors at this time.

  • The lower wire on each motor will be a tight fit against the frame. Bend the lower wire on each motor upward. Be careful when installing the motor onto the frame. Some pinch of the wire is okay, just be careful not to break the motor wire.

Slightly bend the lower wire upward to prepare for installation into the frame.

Note the holes used for screws. Be sure the motor mounts attach to the BOTTOM side of the frame.
