Bottom Sensors

Required Parts:

  • 3x 14mm M2 Screws (these are slightly larger diameter than screws used up until now)

  • 3x M2 ('larger') Nuts

  • 3x 6mm Spacers

  • 2x Nylon Washer

  • 3x Bottom Sensors

  • 1x Long Wire Connector Cable - Approx 6" / 150mm (the short cable is in pictures below, but you should use the long cable instead).

Install bottom sensors to the lower frame as shown in the images below.

Special Notes:

  • Do not attach wire cables to the front sensors at this time.

  • Attach one of the long wire cables to the rear sensor before mounting. The clearance is close on the rear so it is important to connect the cable before installing to frame.

  • The two thin nylon washers are used only on the rear sensor. This is to provide slightly more clearance for the wire connector.

  • The front sensors should be angled slightly forward so they can clear the wheels. (Don't attach wheels now).

  • Be sure to attach the rear sensor to the correct hole. The hole on the opposite side of the frame will be used for another part later.

  • On the rear sensor, the center hole can be used as an alternate mounting location for the sensor if you ever want to change the location in the future.

On the rear sensor we suggest placing one of the thin nylon washer above and one below the 6mm spacer.

Note which hole is used for the rear connector.
